This oil on panel, with its measurements of 28 x 28cms (including the frame), was completed in December of 2023, and showcases a captivating piece that exudes a passion for texture.

The stroke of the brush captures the contrasting elements beautifully - the dull, rusty cog and the smooth, shiny die - intertwining them in a dance of artistic expression. Each stroke of the brush was imbued with a sense of joy, as the artist revelled in the opportunity to depict the delightful juxtaposition of textures.

This is the only original of this painting that exists or ever will. No prints, no reproductions — once sold, this artwork is retired from my collection permanently.
